SwiftUI Metal shader
Nacre
Mother-of-pearl. A screen-space disc solves its own z for a surface normal, one fbm kneads a coarse swirl across it and a second, warped by the first, lays a brushed banding over that; the two plus the limb curvature sum into an optical thickness. A per-channel cosine reads that thickness out at three wavelengths and the result is pulled back toward pearl white, so the fringes stay pastel rather than rainbow.

How it works
Nacre is a real [[stitchable]] Metal shader, not a video or an image. It runs as a SwiftUI .colorEffect, so it paints any view you attach it to. You shape it with sliders in a live preview, then export the .metal file and the SwiftUI code that uses it, or the React Native and Web version. No MSL to write.
